Today, Lindsey Graham passed away, suddenly. His unexpected passing is troubling to the No MOE Corruption campaign as Senator Graham was the only ally to Moe at the federal level when it came to exposing corruption in the judiciary, specifically the Middle District of Florida.

After President Biden nominated Embry Kidd to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, Moe reached out to the Senate Judiciary Committee to express concerns about the nomination of any judge from the corrupt Middle District of Florida, and how the judges in the Orlando Division were falsifying transcripts and weaponizing the United States Marshals Service to intimidate litigants from filing documents in the courthouse. None of the members of the Judiciary Committee cared to address the corruption, except Senator Lindsey Graham. Graham accepted evidence of the corruption and invited Moe to Washington, D.C. to give public comment on the state of judicial corruption in Florida.

At a time when it felt as though public corruption is being normalized, and complaints were falling on deaf ears, Lindsey Graham told Moe to come to Washington, D.C. and expose the judges in Florida. Although Kidd was ultimately confirmed to the 11th Circuit because J.D. Vance missed the vote (most likely because Donald Trump won the 2024 election and Vance was celebrating), Moe will always recognize that when everyone else in government said corruption was OK, Lindsey Graham said “Let’s do something about it!”
