A bombshell lawsuit (or a dud) was filed against Florida gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds by a woman named Kelly Mason over a confrontation that occurred in 2022. Mason alleges that she was cornered by Donalds before he threatened her, but the video shows Donalds losing his cool in, what most social media users describe as an argument, and a “set up”.
Sure, Donalds may have anger management issues, but the real controversy surrounds the response from the other republican candidate, James Fishback, who shares the same lawyer as Kelly Mason. Fishback took to X to release a racist statement on the nature of the lawsuit, before stating that Donalds “chimped out” in another X post.
Fishback described Donalds as a 6’5, 260 pound man (Donalds is 6’2) who cornered a “blonde woman”, echoing Jim Crow era pretextual sentiments used to portray Black men as a danger to White women. In addition to this, Fishback adopted the term “chimping out”, coined by prolific racist Chud the Builder, who is currently behind bars on hate crime charges after he shot a Black man he called a slur. Some Fishback supporters expressed that use of that term cost him their vote while others stated that it was worse than using the N-word.

Fishback doubled down on his use of the term “chimping out”, and formally issued a press release using the racist language.

The chaos between the republicans came to a head this week, but not before yet, another confrontation in Collier County where members of Fishback’s entourage had a physical altercation with elderly voters at a Donalds event. Fishback’s online supporters called the elderly people “Byron’s Boomer Enforcers”. While no one was arrested for assaulting any of the elderly attendees, Fishback was removed from the event.
The Republican Party and its candidates are in utter chaos right now, and are simply not an option in this Florida gubernatorial race. Voters have had it with racism, bad behavior and division. The next Governor of Florida must be an NPA with No Party Affiliation. That’s why Moe Dimanche is in this race, because sensible Republican voters would rather vote for a common-sense NPA than racist and divisive Republican candidates. This is also why donors to Republican candidates have pledged their money in an effort to stop Moe.

Chip in to the No MOE Corruption campaign to make Moe Dimanche the 47th Governor of the State of Florida. Chaos, racism and division must be put to rest, and the People of the Great State of Florida deserve better. And on November 3rd, the State of Florida will have its very first set of First Twins!
